The Viking Venture 10K/ 5K race/walk starting time 9:00 a.m.
10K racers line up near the front with 5K racers behind. Those walking the race should line up toward the rear of the starting line. Those with baby strollers line up behind all other participants.
Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, or animals are not allowed in the race.
Athletic Training Staff will be available on site.
Early Packet Pick-up at the Lakeview High School office Friday, April 27th from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Early packet pick-up is encouraged.
Race Day Packet Pick-up will be at the Lakeview High School Stadium.
Spectators are welcome and should be seated in the bleacher area of the Lakeview High School Stadium.
The Awards Ceremony will be held at the Lakeview High School Stadium at approximately 11:00 a.m. The Course will close at 11:00 am.
Post race festivities will be held at the Lakeview High School Stadium Pavilion. Refreshments will be served to all race participants. Concessions will be available to all spectators.

The Lakeview Education Foundation Viking Venture 10K/5K run/walk starts at Lakeview High School Stadium and continues along a scenic route around beautiful Lake North and Lake Babcock. Lake North Park is one of the premier family-oriented parks in northeast Nebraska. Enjoy the beauty of nature and wildlife as you complete the run/walk. The race ends back at Lakeview High School Stadium, where you will be treated to brunch and beverages before the awards ceremony. The Viking Venture raises funds for the foundation scholarship program, which supports Lakeview Community Schools.
